This FL is really annoying: She bemoans how she didn't help her stepmother, the very same one that had sold her. Just because of a few nice words she forgives her and calls her a mother? What a spineless creature. Furthermore, she does her best to save the guy for whose benefit she was sold and who is threatening her, when what she ought to do is go to the police and sue him.. I'm really starting to question my decision to read this novel -.-
I don't really get it: the child is his, there should be no legal basis for grandparents to take the child, so it's not like he has to explain himself, he can just say 'No'. So what if he's single, he can refuse to separate from his child... or is there something in the Chinese law that allows the grandparents to claim custody of a child when parent is present? Does anybody know?
Some businesswoman she is - she just signed a bunch of papers WITHOUT READING them first! He could've written anything in there and she would've been legally bound by that contract! This lack of logic in these novels is absolutely frustrating! >[
Not to mention how all new novels have ultra short chapters and, I suppose they even shorten the longer ones and paste (1), (2) ... onto the titles.. I mean if they don't want readers to use 1 fp for long chapters and are shortening them because of that, at least they can translate more chapters daily... I keep dropping novels because it's too irritating to wait 12hours just to get a 10seconds read that moves the plot not at all >[
