Question, tho. Even when they don't know the complicated modern- psychological terms, do the ancients (in this book) really believe that a her behavior was befitting a 4 y.o. kid? Even my half and a year old nephew doesn't go "blank" ALL the time like she does. He may not understand a lot, but you can still "talk" to him and he understands some things (he "talks" a lot and very fond to (try to) express his will, his consent, and discontent). She acts like she's a 2 y.o. toddler (or a doll) instead of a 4 y.o. kid. Do the 4 y.o. kids in this ancient setting (and her original world) behave and be at the stage of growth the same as of our world's 2 y.o.?
Wait, why did you give us new problem, then ended the story right after? I thought at least their associates and the hundreds million of their fans knew Qin Ran's married. And that constitutes a lot of people to discreetly spread the words to more people (to warn their friends and relatives of offending Qin Ran and co.). But, this chapter gives us new revelation that the public doesn't know about her marriage.
In the netizens' p.o.v, they only saw a few blurry pictures of her wearing "wedding dress" and the grand/military blockade of several main streets. Everyone who's anyone, knew that it's really her and it's her real wedding. But, the knowing netizens can only call her "the one whose name can't be said", leaving the less knowing netizens speculated the half-truths. Then, all those news and pictures (plus the accounts who dared to call her name) were cleanly deleted in a few hours, less than a day. Leaving the less knowing public even more clueless about her marriage.
Well, a few hundreds yuan is a huge amount ( it can buy a house, after all). But, considering Qin Ling's education cost? It even might not enough to pay his teachers' fees. Granted, he might not fell owed the Fangs for those "little contribution".
??? Father Lin= Lin Siran's father? And are you actually talking about THAT the chief interpol of Continent M Matthew?
Let's not talk about the Qin family's original (ancestral) property (because it's out of question). Even if she married him, it was his worth BEFORE the marriage. Afaik, the divorcees can split the properties only which they acquired/accumulated AFTER their marriage.
"...shook the knife HE WAS holding."
Wait, is it true? So you can employ someone as a chairman of a big company and pay him only with food expenses, logistics (providing room, clothes, and transportation), and his son's education cost? Well, ofc most of his work are more like the head assistant/secretary of an actual chairman while Qin Xiuchen and Qin Ran are the actual decision makers. Plus, his food, clothes, the house he stayed, the car he used, and his son's education are the best kind which can't be payed by a salary of a head assistant/secretary. But, at the end of his life, he won't have any property attached to his name despite all his work, much less will he be able to leave some legacy. He won't even be able to leave a penny for his children. But, is it ethically right? Even the head steward (slave-servant) of those ancient noblemen/royalties got their monthly payment and a decent house, didn't they?
So, is it reasonable to expect the Ninghai villagers and Yun Cheng citizens to respect Qin Ran as "don't offend her" The Amazing Female Emperor, all those years ago in her student years... (when no news/picture of her ever popped up... and all of her achievement were exclusive information for extremely few people... and her violence and playing truant were open in public...) instead of treating her as dangerous thug?
Euh, wait. So, QHQ was married into the Fang and became part of Fang family. The Fang hadn't separated Fang-shi branch of family from her brother's. It doesn't matter if they lost Qin Ling, because the brother's branch was there to continue the incense? And they really chased QHQ and QL out instead of just threatening and scaring them out (so they can exploit their relationship with the Lin/Qin Yu more in the future)? Eeh??? 😕🤔🤨😵
Ofc, he will. Duh! 🙄 Any NORMAL man on his shoes will protect his children's rights.
No... What?! For her brother?! I can understand it if they used it for Qin Ling. At least, he is Qin Ran's brother. I mean, Qin Ling was mainly his parents' responsibility (as long as he's not an a.d.u.l.t). But as an elder (an older sister can be considered an elder, right?) who's already independent, Qin Ran has a small part of responsibility for Qin Ling's basic rights (primary necessities) and education. And I believe she wouldn't mind sharing the responsibility because she actually likes the boy. But, who is that Fang-shi's brother? He's a working a.d.u.l.t with his own family and he looked down on her family, but he used her money to buy a house for himself?! Excuse meeee!!!
😑 Then why would you let them married? Did Fang-shi (Qin Ling's Mom) love QHQ so much that she wouldn't marry anyone else? 😑😑😑
Both? But, I think their gratefulness was more because they've avoided calamity. Rather than awe, they're terrified of Mingyue, LZY, and QHQ. They're already stressed after they saw Chairman Jiang's respect for Mingyue, afraid that they've slighted the family members of powerful person. Then, LZY and QHQ brought the "military higher up" signs with them. Mother Jin ingratiated herself with LZY only before she knew he's a powerful military figure. And Father Jin was mostly respectful, but keep silent (while being terrified) instead being his "socializing making-connection- businessman" self right after he saw the license plate of LZY's car.
Hm? Is he visiting his mother? I remember that the Qins only brought back Qin Hanqiu and Qin Ling. I don't even know how his mother was separated from Qin Hanqiu. Well, I know she didn't like Qin Ran because she thought she's bad and a bad influence for him. And Qin Ling doesn't like her for it (He didn't even bother to tell her the truth about Qin Ran and he copied how Qin Ran loved to hide her talent and only showing their bad side in front of their mothers). But, he wouldn't cut ties with his mother just because of it, would he? And QHQ... he won't leave his wife just because of it and the Qin didn't approve of her, will he?
They didn't expect her friend's home has the security as strict as military secret base. 🙂🙃🙂
So, he was still demoted to "Section Chief" since Feng Luocheng's kidnapped? He really promoted to deputy (replacing deputy Chen) just for two chapters (or one?). 😅 I don't remember how and why he's demoted tho. smh.
"...commando captain..." 😐 I just can't take it anymore. 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 So I checked google and found that "commando" in army is a type of military units, equivalent to infantry battalion and it's specialized in guerrilla tactics, hand-on-hand combat, hit-and-run raids, etc. A member of such unit is also called commando. But, I just can't automatically switch to this definition as the more commonly used (and the one I've heard of first) is... the one that's related to clothes. 😂😅🤣 Even for a word, first impression is really... had strong impact. 😅
I just hope Feng Ci can move on and find his own happiness later. He doesn't deserve to suffer in one sided love for the rest of his life, especially one he has once had, just because his mother's mistake.
Why would it smash the university's reputation? 🤔 Even the doctoral programs graduate had failed in entering the institute. Why would they lose their reputation if the freshman (or fresh-graduate?) of their undergraduate program has failed? 🤔
