I haven't read any of this week's trial reads, so I don't really have an opinion on what's good or bad. I do know that views are literally one of the worst things you can believe in and care about on this site. If you use the site on pc, just clicking on a story to read the synopsis counts as reading it. You can test yourself by clicking on any random story > let the page load > go to library > history and it'll be there, usually at chapter one.
The comment you replied to is clearly trolling, 1, the proof being it was posted months before it was readable. And 2, my comment was simple sarcasm. You seem to just have poor 'Internet EQ' (irrelevant stuff, truly), so, sorry for wasting your time.
Must be new around here
For those that care, comrademao is one of the better MTL sites.
Sounds good, but people should probably take it with a grain of salt since this shouldn't be a work of 'Cuttlefish That Loves Diving.' Which makes can make a world of difference to whether or not it has the same quality.
Ah, the 'comment section' as I call it, seems prevalent in VR/Game/'Player' novels. It could have to do with the meta-ness of these plot themes and/or subgenres, in how a lot of the world, specifically, the ones that confront the MC (or worse the nobodies around the confrontation) just 'know' so much. But, this 'plot device' (at this point) is probably caused by netizen authors that don't know/care how people communicate face to face, IMO. As I really like the theme of the world or a portion of it getting 'superpowers' (grew up reading x-men) even if it's just a game, I kind of accept it and speed-read the opinions of unimportant characters like a Reddit thread. Also, novels that do this read best in mini-arc binges, especially, Player/Hunter/Ranker novels or you'll feel like you've wasted your time. P.S. Haven't read the novel, so hope I'm not off the mark.
Same name btw but with a ! at the end.
Out of all novels with this plot...this is the one where this statement makes the least sense. He had like 2-3 quests that gave 1000s of exp, mobs seem to give dogs*** exp even when a couple of levels higher and he's solo. Everyone else should be 1-2 full real-world days behind him and that's being nice, but they'll be right behind him 'somehow'.
Bad reviews don't affect whether or not a novel gets selected, there's proof of this at least once a month. This month's proof is that 'Military Lord' novel. Want a novel selected, you have to unlock chapters with coins (not free passes).
Hmm, it seems like you aren't taking into account the system for picking novels (that will be continued), you know contribution through coins, that I mentioned (there's also the coin to chapter unlock system/membership price to take into account, translator contracts). That's a lot of conjecture, you know what, you're probably right.
