If he started using true game mechanics calculations, not only would he need to research it but the readers wouldn’t even fully understand it. For simplicity purposes, it’s fair to use the attack speed mechanic in such a simple and fool proof way. If you really want to go into technicalities and further delve into game mechanics then don’t read a novel, read tutorials on game development. There you’d find that there are plenty of parameters needed to be calculated such as agility, base attack time, attack speed and weapon delay for every weapon. Then you’ll find what you seem to be looking for in this novel. Haha it’s a freaking novel man.. 😂🤣

There’s calculations involved in game mechanics that uses base attack time and attack speed. So you’re technically. Just FYI I’m a programmer irl, and have worked in some game developments. Though I wasn’t involved in game mechanics programming, I still know a little bit about it lmao 🥸

Hmm, there’s some variations though. Such as games like WoW where attack speed is the reciprocal of the actual rate of attacks, which in layman’s terms ‘the delay between attacks’; but not all games runs using this type of mechanics. 🥸
