This is a fallacy called “Either-or” or “False Dichotomy” where one believes that there is no inbetween for 2 things, that each side is mutually exclusive when in fact there are alternatives. Science and religion are not opposites. Its not like you have to keep one or the other. These days they seem opposite because religion is viewed as unproved and unsupported and no one bothers to connect the science to a broader idea such as religion. The Big Bang Theory could be considered a religion itself because it requires faith in multiple aspects of its proof. The only difference is what the media chooses to endorse and therefore what people choose to take as fact. Again, science and religion do not have to be held in seperate hands.

You could say the world building is a “trickster” haha I know its not funny but thats the first thing I thought of from this review. It seems like the logic is playing tricks on the readers. Therefore it makes sense that the world building doesn’t make sense. Not only is MC supposed to be a trickster the logic in the novel is too. Of course this is just the perspective of someone who hasn’t even read a single word of this novel yet.
