It's a decent read. What is annoying is how the MC is blind, yet the author keeps describing how things would look. The MC is able to notice Qian Renxue blush despite having no sight. Author proceeds to say how the MC takes in all the sights, sounds, and smell of the new city when MC is still blind. It's just a bit annoying to me. Other than that, some plot holes like Renxue losing her memory, or mc making drugs. It is still a good read, just not my cup of tea.

This is a good novel. It is a Chinese type so naturally there are cliches and such but it is good. The problem I have is the mc. Yes the author said he will make mistakes and such, but while the character is realistic he does stupid things. Once again, the things he does mesh well with his character but personally I hate stupid people/decisions. When he gains the super soldier ability, he starts to think that violence is the answer. Wanting to beat up someone you hardly know after a few words, only restraining himself because of a woman you met once before. Threatening said person when they didn't want to go with you to the Mafia base of the current #1 criminal in the country. Starting a fight against people with guns, who are skilled at using them, with the person from before still in the room, just because he walked up and asked, "Do you know who I am?" or a question along those lines. Before the super soldier ability, he was still reasonable with people. Now it is "My way or get beat up". Once again, it meshes well with how the story is going, I just hate people who act without thinking as well as stupid people.

I'm dropping this novel. I am not trying to be one of those people therefore I will explain, or attempt to, clearly. The mc is not dealing with any consequences his actions may have. Regardless where it is, assault is still a crime, and if it is against a rich person it is worse. Court will not care how you were "feeling" at that moment, they will decide that while it was aggravated, there was no self defense involved. The mc , in simpler terms, attacked another person over words when words could have solved it.

Is it really hard to just say, " Hey, that's my sister. Not cool man, if she don't like you then she doesn't like you. Accept it and move on." if that fail, you tried talking sense, but Now you can beat sense .

Why? Why the heck these Chinese Protags always resort to violence? Never say anything, just fight as if they are half grown apes that still need diapers. Not to mention it is always against a rich Kid. Usually 16-17 and while the Protag is an adult, he still just fights. Assault against a minor turns into attempted murder through bribes.

Here is where I am confused, it is only proficiency and not mastery. Where as proficiency is on your way to be proficient at something, mastery is past that since they are mastering something. Proficient is to be well at using/good at using something so why they think they that good?
