I believe what we are seeing right now is Alter Alice which is responsible for her unhinged state of mind when 'hunting' something. Where she came from is up for discussion, but I believe she has been around since the assassination attempt when she was 10. I believe that the blood used belonged to either Null himself or another beast that specialised in souls as according to the moon goddess, Alice's soul age is only around 10 or so which also coincides with the assassination attempt and long term imprisonment. Either way, the answer lies in either the blood used or her heritage
