So I read all the way to the end, and the MC has evolved into a better person than I had initially predicted. This novel is worth reading, which was what I was initially expecting when I saw the high rating.
I think he's referring to her continuing to this method of being outwardly nice to everyone, and knowingly stringing along the affections of "losers" who she has no intention of giving a genuine chance to. He just doesn't like how insincere she is behind her approachable facade, giving false hope to those "losers" when she doesn't even see them as a possibility. Though, it's not her fault since she probably just wants to maintain friendly relations with everyone; the disparity in attitude towards the "losers" and the "not losers" doesn't leave a good impression on anyone who notices.
Strangely, I didn't start getting breakouts until my 20s..and that was more because my metabolism slowed down due to inactivity
dark means tan...so his skin tone is like that of someone who goes to the beach frequently
Even the AC he wanted to buy for his parents was technically for himself too, since he lives with them.
Yeah, cancer seems to run on both sides of my family. Not sure if all of its genetics or partially lifestyle choices.
Wasn't he going to spend all the money on the incubator? Does he expect to make more than 30,000? Or is he going to pay them back after he's saved up enough breathing money?
What's the point in calculating that now. With each level up, he should gain a new advantage, so his rate of earnings should also increase each time. It's a waste of time to calculate based on what he knows now, which isn't much.
Theoretically, yes; but I'm not sure if the MC has come to the realization that the body naturally needs to breath more when it's undergoing exercise.
I get the feeling the original author was a teenager when he started writing this
Considering we don't save that much money when buying produce from the grocery store vs buying in bulk at a U-Pick farm. I'll be generous and say that he gets $1 net profit per watermelon... he'd have to pick and sell way more than there are premium watermelons available at farms nearby.
His family doesn't sound as poor as I initially expected. At worst, they're in the lower class bracket; but not to the degree of needing welfare.
Even if that was $5.00, it doesn't seem that expensive. Even for the small ones the size of a bowling ball.
normal people get stepped on if we go by this novel's premise
wow...so average is barely passing if we go by the U.S. academic grading scale. Well now we know that his stats are likely a direct reflection of his performance in school.
I can't believe he actually had to contemplate what that meant
So he's below average in all aspects if average is 100
Why can't he just go eat a bunch of food and try to get a special reward? It may be something worth selling for $30,000. Or even look up to see if he can participate in any contests that he may be able to win before the end of the day.
MC is limited to his tiny perception of the world. He sees the world and his "future" with the mind of a child. Definitely hasn't experienced adulting in spite of his supposed "hardships." He developed insecurities because of his family circumstances, which let him see how ugly society can be; however, he didn't do anything to break out of the caste that he was born in. Before he got the system, he was just another person who complained about how unfair life is. Now he's already shaping up to be another one of those "rich kids" that he previously despised. His nature/behavior does not seem like the type that would better the world. He seems more like the type that would give money to someone he knows, and then go about his merry way thinking about how different he is from those other "rich kids" but doesn't really do anything more than that. He may get to the point where he has more money than he can reasonably spend, and still not think to improve the overall livelihood of those that are like how he and his parents were. Of course, that's not uncommon at all. In fact, I'd say the MC (base) is a very common type of person you can find IRL (full of insecurities, selfish, and likes to blame others before themselves). I'm kinda hoping that I'm making too many inferences about the MCs character development (or lack thereof) and that he'll be an okay person (not cringey and deathstare inducing) further into the novel.
