No matter what, realistically it will impact his Martial Path too much. Yes, he'll get rare resources and that could push him to Sage Level but Rui isn't aiming for Sage or Transcendent he is aiming for higher then that and wasting his time when he is a his highest potential talent (cause of the early Senior realm) is going to cost him too much. I see a lot of people talking about the fact he could mico manage, but we just heard a big speech from the Emperor about how none of the other royal children have any responsibility and if Rui becomes Emperor then immediately throws all the work of running the empire for others to do he'll be no different.
Maybe but that's after the Emperor ruled for hundreds of years it wont be that easy in his starting years also you still can't have the Emperor running around in the Beast Domain not to mention he's going to be pressured to start having children as well to continue the royal line.
Hair?? Isn't he a Buddhist monk?
No doubt that would be an important improvement and definitely something he needs in the future. I always thought Rui was rather good at using feints, distraction, and sneak attacks that trick the opponents awareness like he used in his last two duels with Kane and Ferilwal. So a Mental Martial Art like the one we saw with Surman Marliak and his Enchanting Willow Style could be a good fit for him.
With the Pathfinder and Flux Earther Techniques that heavily rely on the Predictive Model of the V.O.I.D Algorithm. What Rui needs now is a close combat Martial Technique that embodies the Adaptive Model of the V.O.I.D Algorithm. Something that is incredibly versatile and can be used in as many circumstances as possible.
I don't really understand Marx grand plan here, like why did he need Brian to learn Theft Path and if it was crucial to the plan why just toss the method at him while he was knocked out and hope he'd choose to learn this taboo path. Also if all he needed was Brian's blood and to be alive near the ruins why not take him there when he was a lonley kid when he had his complete trust.
