Its powers and potential was already quite ridiculous, why in addition add one of the worst kinds of system? If I want to read a book where the hero gets everything without earning a hundredth of her abilities, I will read a Chinese wuxia produced massively... :(
You know, depending on where you appear in warhammer, it can be decent. In fantasy, if you were born in the internal part of ulthuan and not at a period too disgusting (end of time, civil war or first invasion of chaos plus some events), you have nothing to fear, there is no beastmen, skaven, ork or other filth and you are a few tens of kilometers from some of the greatest heroes of the good like Teclis, Imrik or Eltharion who are able to defeat in 1 on 1 superior demons. As long as you don’t come across anything extremely rare like one of the slaneesh cults, one of the tzeench infiltrators or a dark elf spy, there is virtually no danger out of the period of great trouble
I am still a little sad that he is chosen the scientific route while "alchemist" implies magic, like Nicolas Flammel. I hope he’s not just going to plunder the powers of other Marvel heroes but have his own abilities. Also, if he survives 1 century, I hope he will behave like an immortal and not like a 20-year-old person.
It is an error of simplification as there are many (example: the man descended from the monkey or other), the argument is not the Big Bang but the fact that there is enough convergence evidence to say that the Big Bang took place, just this evidence is too complex to explain to the neophytes, and it is on the details that we are still discussing.
80 years is a lot but if we talk about ancient era, not so much so perhaps 100 or 150 years?
I read to chapter 195, I strongly disagree with the part of he is not a sociopath, his choose a very sociopathic choice, and I like evil character but his choice is just annoying and ininteresting. He choose power over bond. Without the main character plot, he will just become an orochi-character with his obsession of surviving and power. And the excuse of "he want to survive" are stupid, he has jounin power, live in a surpernatural world and knowledge of the future, he can easily make her survive, make her fake death or other...He choose to do nothing even with the capacity and prefer to rob corpse and some eyes of Uchiwa... Dropped
I'm like evil or cold character. I like character who make hard decision and sacrifice for an objective. The character is not like that. He is a cockroach, a rat. He want to survive? Then he can survive, he can go hide in the forest and never appear again. I'm not interested in a psychopath or a sociopath who can't create emotional link. And don't tell me he don't have the choice, with his future knowledge and his capacity, he can save her without much danger. He is a coward and I'm no more interested in this book. It's sad, but this character is to cold for me, the problem is clear in the first part of the novel but I wait an evolution. They are none, he choose to let her die and rob the corpse of the uchiwa. Dropped.

Interestingly, it would have been a shame not to exploit the strength of the Elves, their long lives, why rush to do some impossible things in a few years when you can prepare for decades what you are going to do and build it firmly and carefully. I hope however that she is not too overpowered to keep interest in the story, it is not interesting to see a character just crush by force the difficulty without using his brain.
Snape in the novel was more injust and violent than in the movie so he is more an antagonist than the antihero he is in the movie.
Not sure, the least frightening thing about immortals as old as these two is to find them alone and that’s what Selene managed to get, that his wife repels her. After all, she has all done to make her accept it even with its monstruosity no more contain.
Just because you’re drowning doesn’t mean you have to bring people with you. This Selene character is really hateful, manipulating a person who completly trusts you in something that you’re not and that you clearly chose not to be is not love, just manipulation and a toxic relationship
In comics, he can compete in terms of power and magic skill with the old one and Strange. I hope he will at least recover the powers of his variants in his series like Original Loki and Child Loki which are much more powerful than the MCU version.
So it 80 years after the battle of gaider realm, interesting
