So perhaps yes, a skilled swordsman can beat a spearman, you have to be really akikled as a swordsman to be able to beat a spearman thats merely decent, of course this does depend on the type of sword and spear, for example between a longsword against a short one handed spear the swordsman would have the advantage (provided the spearman doesn’t have a shield and doesn’t throw his spear) but in general, unless you give a really specific type of sword against a soecific type of spear, the spearman would generally have a heavy advantage
Also who said spears are easily disabled? spears are in no way easily disabled, in a tight area? Thrusts, in a wide area? Well the advantage is obvious
Sorry for the late reply I haven’5 been on webnovel for a while, but I’ll have to disagree with you there, in a duel between a swordsman and a spearman both of which have equal skill in their respective weapons the spearman will win, don’t underestimate the versatility and reach advantage of the spear, even when the swordsman is more skilled, it would be hard for them to win provided the spearman knows how to handle their weapon. Of course a master of the sword can win against a spearman but in that case its not the weapon but rather the skills of the wielder that decides the fight. Spears are unarguable better than swords as a weapon overall.
Extremely late but in chinese elements jin/gold means metal, so metal element
Yes, they are new students of course they are incompetent, if they have mastered the sword they wouldn’t be taking the class would they?
Historically chinese prefers spears and glaives. While there are famous swords most famous generals and such fought using glaives. Also Spears > Swords
I believe the reason why they can’t bite down is because of their gag reflex so he can still use the trick, but I do agree that in a realistic setting he would have has hand and probably arm bit off. It’ll be better to just toss the crystal into the wolfs mouth.
Yes... caught (cough shot cough)
Tldr: rather then changing themselves they can change the world around them.
Sorry for the typos, typing on a phone is irritating.
I agree that the protagonist ahould change to fit with the new world they are in but for most people it should be a long process, unless something forces them to change. The cases where the protagonist would fit with the meq world immediately is if they already had beliefs similar to the world they transferedninto, or if they are forced to change because of mind effecting magic or a dangerous situation where they have to change to survive. Otherwise even if they are ambitious they wouldn’t necessarily need to change much. Most of the time they would have angolden finger that would allow them to change the world to fit them instead. If the protagonists come from a world where things are ‘better’ most protagonists will probably change their new world so it becomes more similar to their old world as they believe it is ‘better’. How a protago ist changes depends on their original mindset, original world, new world, and what experiences they go through. If they become a slave they might fight back and try to rid the world of slavery, they might try to take the system down from the inside or they might accept it and move on.
Smart compared to the typical braindead Mcs and braindead cannonfodder enemies
Indescribable doesn’t necessarily mean sexual or romantic. Try giving him the benefit of doubt
Wolf is held by mage hand so probably wouldn’t be too hard to get the crystal inside, also if I remember correctly wolfs can’t bite if you stuff something down their throat. (Still if he stuffed the crystal inside the wolfs mouth than he probably would get his arm bit off)
Technically not pedophilia, the child likes him, he doesn’t like the child (romantically).
Adding on to the other reply, it was mentioned that he’s a dabbler without formal training
Also Staves/Staffs are even more versatile
