However, for some reason, she could not help but feel that there was something different about Riley-- like he was more aware of what he was actually doing than he lets on about, something that her 2 autistic siblings are surely not capable of.

This story is a gem. Everything so far has been as perfect as can be. The world building is paced well, the characters all exude a tremendous amount of personality, and then you have the main character. Mikax might be my favorite MC of all time. He is funny as hell, cunning and smart, and he is also so human in his actions. This might be one of my favorite stories on the site and I cannot wait to see how it develops! 11/10 Would read again!
