he hasn't started another cycle. He has just moved back in time on the same one so those creatures are still as dead as he left them
no, that shouldn't be the case. In this instance, Cassie isn't depending only on what Torment said .She said she was certain that at the heart of the Estuary lies a means to become Fateless. That both she and Torment know that to be true
They also don't have time to wait. Right now they have the element of surprise since Torment is already dead and no one is controlling the hordes of Defiled around Verge. But if they stay put longer, the enemies will sniff them out and start attacking them when they are so far away from the 1st Seeker. it will make it much more dangerous for the entire Cohort.
I've never really thought about Weaver's lineage having a legacy 🤔
Yeah. The important thing is being able to stand by the decision you make even if things turn out oddly
Oh, I see 👍
That doesn't seem to be something he can control with whatever is at the Estuary. It seems it will either leave it or erase it rather than giving him control of the process
She said they can manage without him. He's not betraying them or sacrificing his friendship
But think about it this way - you have to hear the knowledge to be defiled. But at the Estuary, it is unlikely there is a being there that will try speaking to him. And Sin of Solace has been shut up by the Mad Prince. So maybe once he is incorruptible, he can block his other senses and move to the well
I don't think it is correct to say "the Spell made him [Fated]". Aspects and attributes have existed before the Spell. They are properties born from your soul. The Spell just makes it easier by quantifying it rather than you discovering by trial and error
I don't think the Mad Prince aimed to be Fateless. His obsession was bringing Neph back to life no matter the cost. The rest were just sprinkled additions
This is G3 we're talking about. He subverts expectations. He won't write himself into a corner even if he got rid of the shadow bond. While you're here trying to figure out 3D chess, he has some 5D moves planned ♟️ to bamboozle you
This statement - they killed Neph to break the bond - is questionable 🤔. They turned on her after being Corrupted since she is immune to Corruption. And we know corruption will push to snuff out anything that isn't corrupted as its natural enemy
It's more indirect manipulation. For example, if you want someone to cover a certain area of the battlefield but can't do it directly, you position others in various areas so that the area you want is the one left and the person is sent there
Indeed
Yeah. Last I recall, some had entered Nightmares to attempt becoming Masters. Unfortunately, I doubt any was with them to enter this harrowing Nightmare and survive to become Saints
The Spell would have left them with a way forward I believe
It was one creature with multiple heads. And yes, a Titan
