He’s always in Manohar’s shadow, ignored even if Manohar is missing. Now Lith comes and is looking to be another genius. He probably hates the school and royals for undervaluing him for so long. He recommended Lith to the plague zone hoping he would die. He also would have known about the list of clients for the assignment that got ambushed. He’s the only one with the motives and resources to do this. Him being a male at a marriageable age also makes it plausible how he got the bracelt on the prof. It seems too perfect now that I look at all these factors. I just hope Lith will crack the boxes soon, or at least get told that there are people with slavery bracelets running around

Seems a little early to be having dick family members intrude on him. There are too many things happening at once. You got Company drama, Looming System quests, Gods, Dying from cultivating, World building, Cultivation societies, Courting Secretary and Neighbour... And now you throw an evil twin with an NTR personality into the mix. Keep in mind at this point the MC has not spent a single moment cultivating or has even held a girl’s hand yet.

The story started interesting but now the MC is just brainwashing or planning to brainwash anyone important with a personality. Even potential allies who have nothing against him. Not sure I’ll keep reading if it keeps going in this direction. Even bad guys can have a friend or family, and this guy wanted to be neutral. Its too bad because I genuinely find his interactions with the hero and his plotting interesting. I’m sure it’ll get boring if his only option every time is to kill the hero. Maybe converting then to his side as an alternative could be an option in the future. Knowing this MC so far though, he would only brainwash the female protagonists. Good luck with your story. Hopefully if I continue reading it the character interactions wont be as predictable as they seem to be so far; all ending in brainwashing.
