I just have to say the freaking fight scenes in this novel are so smooth, well paced, and detailed just enough. A lot of novels try to make their fight scenes these massive drawn out things but they don’t need to be. A good fight scene needs to pull the readers in and give them enough info for the reader to be able to imagine what happens and guide them through the image and this novel does that better than most of the novels I have read. Honestly while the novel is a bit cliche (still love it) all in all I would not be surprised if I was reading this in a published novel.

I nodded, panting heavily. While she didn't get tired as long as I kept absorbing pure aether into her core, I didn't have that same benefit. While I did recover somewhat and could last longer than I could have when I was a human, I just didn't possess the stamina to go against her multiple times in a row. Not to mention a lot of the pure aether I absorbed went into her core and only some went into rejuvenating my stamina. That was a caveat to the manifestation thing. He did but also they spent 3 weeks with him teaching them how to control mana so it makes sense that he would have prioritized them learning how to help him.

What was the novel? Did you enjoy it? I am always looking for more novels especially ones that are actually detailed.

A pet would be higher than a slave for sure. A slave is disposable sure you have to keep them alive and train them but they are at the end of the day disposable. A pet is something you raise, train, and form some form of attachment to, granted it may not be love and they could still be sacrificed if needed but it would have some impact in some form on the owner.

Honestly what is there to say other than read this. Cultivation Online may be one of the best novels I have ever read and is definitely one of the top 3 web novels I have ever read, possibly the best. The only complaint I have with the novel is that I wish the individual chapters were longer. When I pay for every chapter I would like to have 1.5-2x at least of the current chapter length. The author is putting out ~14 chapters per week so ~2 per day, they could easily just combine the chapters. I do understand though that this is making the author money so I don't rate the novel lower. This is one of the only Webnovels I will pay to read the chapters for the author, it is also the ONLY novel I have read that I have payed the fee to see extra chapters.

I really enjoy the novel, I wish there was more focus on the life of the characters daily. I think the author does a great job with everything so I would really like to see him flesh out the actual life of the MC. If you want a smart, ruthless, cold to his enemies but warm to his friends MC then look no further you found one of my favorites!
