Not quite. Remove 'every', leaving 'the time signature'. It's a music reference.
Ryu was a master of the Four Arts, so his musicality was beyond that of most people. While these might sound beautiful to a laymen, every the time signature was in an odd 4/9 beat progression and it felt just barely out of balance with the Heavens themselves. - talyn74mthCommented

It was clear why Ryu wasn't interested in this Protector Spirit. Its main ability was in using its body and subtlety to trick its enemies into misunderstanding its true intentions. It was actually a beautiful style because it not only hid the fake in reality, but it could also his the reality in what was fake. Ideal, or idea?? A bit hard to determine.
Each one of these, even the elements, was beyond just the superficial underpinning of strength. In some ways, they were even more profound than the Infinity Mist that he had taken on, and probably equivalent to Origin Flame Cosmic Seed. Even worse, the more abstract they were, the more difficult it was for them to form because Ryu had to figure out a method to give them life in a way that made them more than just an ideal. - talyn76mthCommented
