You can't just demand that someone understand something that someone else is going through just because you said "that person has this and that". Yes, what he did was wrong (and incredibly stupid😑), but there's no point in complaining and brooding over it now. If MC doesn't like being treated like a sub, he must be sincere and stand up for himself, even if it ruins the mood. Of course, this does not apply to everyone, and in all situations, but MC seems to have a strong enough personality and mentality to do so and there would be no consequences. I don't think Saito would have forced him to continue if he had just said something.
