If you read this novel, it's more because you want to see a badass female MC conquering a continent and becoming empress as realistically as possible. The intrigue and plot is really well done and researched. If this world really existed, I think the war for the throne could really be done like that. No plot hole for now and you don't feel like some thing are forced for the sake of the plot. It all flow realistically. All in all, it's quality writing, if you are interested in conquering a continent and don't fear the ~2000 chapters you can dig in with full confidence. I guess that it's so low in the rankings because on one hand it's not the usual style of other novels on the site, and on the other hand, since it is written really realistic, the plot is slow, like really slow.
