Read books
I mean... yes but no
Ohhh his older brother knew afterall
Realistically the organization behind them would know why they left in the first place... but this is a novel afterall :>
Why is everyone acting like this is all normal though? It's like Elric doesn't deserve any help at all. This sounds like a typical toxic family for me.
I love the quality of this novel. It's exactly the type of novel I'm looking to read in my spare time. This novel features an OP MC, a direct progression of the story, and a clear power system. The author's style and pace in his chapters are comforting to read and you can clearly feel that a clear effort of world-building is established in the story, so props for the author for that. My concern through the progression of the story (without spoiling anything) comes with the characters themselves. The MC does not have any philosophy for himself, or in other words, he is the type of every generic cliches that act like the MC empathizes with the weak and is clearly a beta male then in the next chapters the same MC becomes arrogant and thinks every single species are just ants to him. The same could be said to some characters in the story too. All in all, I'd strongly recommend this to readers who want to have a quick read. In the end, face-slapping novels are still satisfying to read.
The premise of the novel starts off simple, a marriage was imposed on the two young adults to settle the long feud between two families. The FL is a doctor and sees light within the darkness, and the ML is the personification of a devil (literally). This is one of the better novels that have a good knack for comedy. The pace is easily understood (in most chapters) and the characters entangle themselves in one huge world. If you are interested in dark humor, this book is for you. To the author, I hope you keep up your work and I wish to see your book through the end. It's alright to take your time in creating your chapters. Keep it up and Ciao!
So... the FL is being burdened by the death of her lover 5 years ago because of her grandfather and the ML agrees on a loveless marriage while the catch is he is unscrupulous in his means, and can even resort to extreme measures. It sparks an interesting moral conflict between the two main characters. Lilliana represents light with a shade of darkness from her trauma (or maybe more), and Vincenzo symbolizes complete darkness. I am expecting more from Lilliana because having her lover killed is a traumatic experience. It's hard to visualize how she and the ML can get along with each other when some qualities she abhorred from her trauma (an act of killing) were also done by the ML (In chapter 2). In short, the longer she would know Vincenzo, the more she would feel detached about him.
Ethan was the FL's ex??
Same energy.
