it's always funny when vahn says this, as prior to his entry into a record, it's "fate" was indeed set in granite, the story set to play out in a predetermined way. so unless there are other individuals on vahn's level entering records, a person's strength, abilities, disposition and even end are all set.

just goes to show that without his tools and weapons, Gil is absolutely trash level in terms of power. a representation of exactly what scath is teaching vahn not to be.

the wish on the pseudo grail was for anyone that dies that has neutral or good karma to transfer. so essentially, vahn just became the reason truck Kun has ist's power.

the darkness of humanity and society. because even if not to this extent in this novel, such things still occur in our world today. It kind of brings the terror and injustice of human trafficking in our world to the surface huh? the only problem is the real world doesn't have superhumans like vahn to easily correct these horrors.
Most of the slaves who had wanted direct vengeance had been female, as the life of a female slave was inordinately harder than their male counterparts. Not only did they have to perform manual labor, but they were always subject to the whims and licentiousness of their owners. Even worse was the fact that the male slaves, in order to release their stress and tensions, would vent it out on the females' bodies during 'mating'. Since they were expected to produce the next generation of slaves, the life of female slaves within some 'farms' was extremely cruel. plot hole. it was started in earlier chapters that vahn was the first human to be named a sage. unless fells wasn't human.
Other than Ouranos, the only other candidates were those working under him, making it appear that he is involved through the actions they took on his 'behalf'. This placed a spotlight on the man named 'Fels', who Vahn had actually been able to find out a great deal of information on through the system shop. He was a mortal man who had come into prominence more than 800 years ago within a small port city named Altena. Though he couldn't be compared to the gods themselves, Fels had been the 'father' of Alchemy, paving the way forward for all those to follow since the gods typically didn't teach the 'secrets' of such techniques. Within the texts, it was recorded that he had actually created the first [Philospher's Stone], earning the title of 'Sage' from the Elves, making him the only person besides Vahn himself to earn the title outside of the Elven Kingdom. - Seishiro4mthCommented

As if it were a race to see who could put their piece out first, all four men practically slammed their totems down and agreed to the proposal while Vahn observed them with mild intrigue in his eyes. These people would become the de facto rulers of Orario in the future and it was somewhat amusing to see them so motivated. incorrect, as he has already bought several books from other records such as when he was searching for names for his dragons and Fenrir. I do think it might have something to do with cost as he mentioned buying a grimoire was either too expensive (when studying with Eva) or that he couldn't buy them because they were unique.
Though he said that, Vahn was curious if the system shop might actually have such an item. Given the myriad of different items contained within, and the functionally infinite number of records to pull from, Vahn believed the chance of there being such an item was actually close to 100%. Still, it was a cool phrase that he had been a recurring sentiment in several novels he had purchased from the system and, given the circumstances, it seemed like the correct things to say. It also helped that, after experiencing it himself several times, Vahn knew his words were an absolute and inviolable truth. two years late but: I can almost understand it as the end of Eva was indeed rather trippy, though not worthy of hate mail. i watched it once and was like "that was nuts" and wrote off the series thereafter. if anything I think rahxephon did the "evolving into a god" thing better.
Hearing Vahn 'apologize' made Terra's brain buzz a bit because she felt incredibly happy that her mild scheme had been successful. She knew that there were indeed several peculiarities between all of them, such as Fafnir's 'scar' and Fenrir's 'hunger', so Terra thought she could use it as an excuse. It was certainly true she was inexperienced with the organ, but her actual control over her body was rather impeccable. Even the tension in her butt was something she had done intentionally just to get Vahn to be more forceful in his actions. Terra was actually shocked to the core about how 'intense' his massage was because she was struggling to hide her response. wrong. if he had a reputation of repaying attacks with attacks, cruelty with cruelty, these folks wouldn't have tried anything. but because he is a "hero" they expected him to crumble because of hostages.

Though he was a bit confused, Vahn just caressed her back for a bit until she said, "Don't become a monster because of other people...save Tina, that is the most important thing. while there is no doubt he could find 'something' in the path that would allow her to become 'real', it would be immensely expensive as her current self does not have a soul and is essentially a "recording". she, as a memory fragment, does not have a soul. for comparison it would be like trying to convert one of Naruto's shadow clones into a real copy of the original or keep it alive in a world that "chakra" doesn't exist, something that is not remotely possibly considering the intent of the original "spell"
After Vahn had 'embraced' her, Evangeline just rested her body against his and enjoyed his warmth as she slowly drained his blood. Since Vahn had been her only accompaniment in this orb and she was likely going to vanish sooner or later, she wanted to enjoy the small comfort she could obtain from him. rereading and had to comment on this. Naruto's shadow clone, or more accurately the 2nd Hokage's shadow clone technique creates a physical clone of the original with all of the original knowledge and the limited chakra infused into it at the time of creation. it was intended as a scouting technique as all experiences of the clone would be passed to the original onece the technique breaks or is released. it was only the massive chakra of the nine tails that allowed it to be viable at all as any sort of combat ability. the clone and the original aren't linked at all mentally except at the start and finish. completely different from an Avatar clone which is a literal second body controlled by the soul of the first at the same time, something that would be impossible to even use without extensive practice or the ability to "parallel" ones thoughts. the benefit of this would be that even if the "original" was killed, the avatar is essentially the same and the user would not die. in Naruto's case, if the original dies, the rest would perish as well as they aren't "real". no relation to the monkey king in either skill.
It seems people are still confused over his Avatar and Multithread Processing Skill. It doesn't create a separate personality. Saya's just a different case. I hope that clears the misunderstanding. - Seishiro5mthCommented
