This sentence I have like 3 theories on what it’s trying to say, and that’s a problem… typos and grammar can be forgiven, but this isn’t even a functional sentence.

Doesn’t matter how clean the water looks, water born pathogens are no joke.

How? If they were that close then the pirates wouldn’t need to know where they were going?

Going to rescue someone but we can wait a week to do it?

Feels like this should have fixed this more…

Honestly was liking it until they go to “college”. It is apparent the author has never been to one or actually looked into how they work… so if you can get by that it is very enjoyable and pleasant. As someone who works in academia, it ruins the story by pulling me out too much so can’t keep reading. Hopefully the author will revise or learn from this in future stories.
