Now, I understand why she tried to run away and escape. Lady Mona ang the commander knows that the empire itself is cruel and heartless especially being a Roseheart in blood and having a princess as her daughter. It truly that why Commander Gavin pitied her and love her so much to walk such bloody path of escape alone. Maybe Commander Gavin had regretted on the past letting the woman he loved go. By having this kind opportunity to express and help his love with all his life being a traitor and fugitive is worthy just for the Lady of his heart.
