Agreed. Usally I like Hermione as the main love interest in fanfics if they're in the same year or the MC is younger. If the MC is a couple grades higher then the trio, the best match is an OC or another female in Hogwarts in MC same grade or in a higher grade. Beside that, my issue is that a lot of the chapters were just focusing on Hermione and her daily life, not MC. Basically the author just followed the book and gave MC no character development for awhile.

I would pick Aikanu. Tbh I think Kizaru is very underestimated and hides a lot. You got the two factions for Aikanu and Aokoji, but Kizaru is a sore thumb. He acts like a lazy uncle, but he hides a lot under his facade being neutral between both groups. Works with the mysterious Vega Punk and it seems he might have more ties with the world government. A couple things that stand out with him being "evenly matched" with Marco. Letting Strawhats go when Rayleigh showing no well with his fruit would enable him to do something. Being able to easily capture his teacher Zephyr.

I would say to take MC growth a bit slower since he is still far away from the beginning arc. Cause by the time Roger's execution MC would be basically invincible. I would time skip could solve a bit, but also you would expect MC to grow into a new stage.
