That may be dangerous, if a few clones with 50% chakra were to die at the same time the influx should be too much for his chakra coil and in logic may cripple him at best

Nah, my issue is not that I can see where this is going but that the MC even tough it's understandable is sharing his powers. I may not have watched One Piece if all his crew had the gomu gomu no mi. but like I said it's logical that the MC do this, it's just that when MCs share their systems or whatever I lose a bit of interest in the story

I can see where this is going, just like the original novel he is going to power himself up to a certain point then will give all his special abilities to his allies, which is an understandable choice but take any specialness out of the MC
