HappyThing1yrPostedThe system is a hypocrite. Near the beginning of the story, chapter 100 - 200, the MC kills a few innocent people after getting lost in bloodlust. The system punishes him for this by amplifying fear and shutting down for about a year. The thing is though, the system has already amplified all of his emotions by 50% meaning it's a huge part of the reason the MC got lost in bloodlust. After the punishment time is over the system then says the reason it could not stop the MC forcefully is because it can't interfere with his life. So it has, and uses, full control over his emotions, but apparently doesn't interfere with his life? Not really how it works. Making an MC who doesn't kill the innocent is fine and all, but do it through the MC's personal experiences, not by having the system force it down his throat.

I've been thinking and I may have started this story off wrong. At first I thought it would be cool to go through everything that happens in the backstory and stuff at once, but now I'm thinking that it might be good to slowly get into that with flashbacks or something. Anyone have thoughts on this?

I got a few with systems in them but not limited to the mc if you'll go for that. Armipotent has been pretty good excluding grammer, Earth Alpha Prime has a decent start that could be better or worse, Blacksmith of the Apocalypse has started out great in my opinion, and one of my favorites is Sovereign of Judgment. There's a few others like this that I think I can name, but if you don't like these you probably won't like those. Good luck in finding some good ones!
