I'm not so sure about the angel comments. Sounds more like a reference to Valstrax and the like (Monster Hunter) to me.
Assuming we keep with the demon theme, there's a few that come to mind: Lilith (unlikely, but plausible as Tista has always turned heads after Awakening), Lilim (linked to the former, but more unlikely, given its a form given to 'children of Lilith') and Astaroth (maybe, I've seen the name used interchangeably across genders in different media). The problem is that I'm stumped on how any of those really have any relation to her Phoenix side.
Well, you definitely dug that one yourself, my friend...
I'm more inclined to believe that the intended song is Savage Garden's "I Want You" (I'm Australian and so is it) but we'll never know unless Legion comes out and tells us, I suppose.
Does anyone else get the feeling that Lith's gonna have to go down the same road as the Returner Abominations to 'master' his Abomination side? Side note: would be very fitting for him to devour Orpal in place of an Abomination clone of himself...
That's rich, coming from the one who rarely comes out of her cave!
I think 'ancestral grandfather' would be an easier phrase for it
Either that's a long-time-coming romance flag...or it's the worst hidden death flag I've ever come across.
Neither of those are heavy-handed by her standards. Remember, Faluel mentioned that Tyris punched the Fenrir-type Guardian across a continent during their first lesson.
What do you mean by 'start'? Stupid bastard just dug it himself! XD
I like the subtle insult in the subtext when you break it down enough - sadly, censorship prevents me from writing out my interpretation.
*Chapters 511-525, for reference
Kallion Nuragor, Phloria's most recently known ex and the wanker that tried to embarrass Lith by backing Kami into a corner during the Ernas' wedding anniversary gala.
I believe that while most Living Legacies are cursed objects, not all cursed objects are Living Legacies. IIRC, Living Legacies cannot be stored in dimensional items because they are, technically, alive whilst cursed objects are simply that, cursed but not sentient. Then again, who really knows other than Legion?
Judging by the nature of this conversation and the proclivities of certain members of the Royal Council, Kami now has a very serious target on her back. And don't forget that upstart brat from the Nuragor - many pieces slowly fall into place, most likely leading to a very grand reveal. And, most likely, a "I am a monument to all your sins"-level of destruction.
Why do I see a Rathian from Monster Hunter here? XD
Which means everything from the start of this chapter to the end of this 'scene' is a flashback. Damn, what a transition...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that a reference to Tyrfing from Norse Mythology? *Ref: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tyrfing
