Well, its not all that unrealistic. In medieval times it was actually not that uncommon for someone to be thought dead, but to wake up again shortly after. Medicine was not that well developed and states of apparent death were mistaken for actual death all the time. Every few thousand deaths you had one that just didn't stick. Especially during epidemics. Humans can sometimes be surprisingly resilient. Thats also part of the reason, why there was a tradition of watching over the dead body for a few days before the burial. In the 19th century they even had safety coffins where you could ring a bell above your grave from the inside of your coffin. If you come back within a day or two, you get an odd look or two, but no real problems. The doctor simply screwed up.
Dude, there are another dozen dead bear bodys he could eat. No need to give a shit about one random bear. Just eating the first that got split in half, is probably enough already.
Well, cute is one word to describe it. It can potentially be cute, but have you ever seen an owl realyyyy tilt its head? Damn, that thing can go 180° upside down. Sends a shiver down my spine every time I think of it.
