It's understandable for her to show fear with your reasoning but the way her 'fear' is portrayed really irritates me. Maybe it's just me? (prolly nah) but the way she's freaking out just because he's there is laughable, the guy didn't even do anything. It's like it's written for the sake of the plot. Anyway still a good read.

I've read this before and I didn't like it that much. It's supposed to be face slapping novel but you wouldn't feel that vibe at all. There are many times where Yan Xi could've stopped the villains schemes but she would spare little effort giving the villains another chance to scheme and it became too repetitive it's frustrating. Also, the ML is mysterious but it does not equate to him being interesting. Overall okay if you have patience:))

I don't really know what I was expecting but it definitely wasn't this. Sorry but just no ๐ it started out great then it became childishly written that it was embarrassing to read. The fl's development is so abrupt. Too many characters ang being put in. Her uncle's backstory is just said for convenience of the rest of the characters. It's overall messy but if you have time and patience I guess you could read this.
