There is. In the final chapters of MVS Quinn meets every person or being he has ever crossed paths in life in the red space. Some are enemies Quinn had slain, and continue to bear grudges against him. Others are friends and allies, such as Erin and Leo. I won’t say more lest I spoil it (if you haven’t read that part yet).

Yes. They are literally on a different level of existence from Gary and the other powerhouses of this (earthly) domain. Something that our MCs still haven’t grasped at this point, such as the matter of celestials and godslayers. I made this comment earlier because many of us were working on the assumption that Jack was the ancestor. But then we’re reminded that—my apologies if you haven’t read MDS yet, a bit of a spoiler here— that Jack wasn’t the only werewolf during his time. His brother Steve also was, and was in fact part of a pack. They also rescued many others, some of whom followed Jack and became his pack in the Redwings. So beyond the Dems, there obviously was a progenitor. Same as the vampires.
