The start was really enjoyable. Girls and story felt interesting, there was character and relationship development and overall it was just fun to read. Sadly later the "romance" part just developed in a direction I really stopped enjoying. Later everything was just about sex. There was no relationship or buildup anymore. It felt like the whole "pregnant" stuff was just added to add anything else then sex to the relationship... but that didn't really helped at all for me. Even worse was the whole "me and all my girls are getting porn stars"... the whole "i care for the girls I sleep with" also got less and less true. Fucked an arachne in a dungeon, (friend of the sister of his girls). She moved on herself into his home ceiling, but was never mentioned or cared again for. Centaur, who he may have knocked up, never got mentioned again either. He even fucked a hairstylist just to get free haircuts... So cool... not... Additionally the story also just got harder and harder to follow. Strange time skips and what happened in between got hardly explained, stuff just was "set different" and as reader you had to deal with the new situation without any explanation how it got there... Just a lot of stuff like that. So... yeah, first 1,5 books i really enjoyed. 1,5-3 was basically just wild sex and porn career and in the 3 book i just lost overall interessed, skipped through the already payed chapters and hoping to get into a bit more meaningful romance again but couldn't really get into the book anymore.
Hello everyone, Just quick update after 824 Chapters; My Review still stands. After the start the story stays really "similar" overall: - Super slow paced (one day may have up to 10, 20 or even 50 chapters, so story progression and character growth is slow as well) - huge harem (all girls stay around, get mentioned from time to time and have their own special chapters. They don't fade away. But since there are just so many of them, some just don't have time to develop much depth.) Overall: - If you look for a fluffy, feel good harem story without much drama: Read it! - If you just fear the huge harem, but enjoy fluffy harem stories in general: Try it, Dyrem does a quite good job handling those many girls. - If you looking for a story with a lot of depth, complex characters, exiting story turn-arounds etc.; Its probably not to your liking.
I really enjoy those east going harem romance stories, especially in modern settings. Personally I would prefer some less tragic background (since it's not time travel but alternate universe, I really feel bad for those girls) but it's fine I guess. writing quality also improved a lot since the last novel I've read from the author (well partly read, only read 300 chapters of Kings Mandate and lost interest then)... the wording of feelings still is a bit off from time to time, but overall quite good.
Author said, that he lost inspiration already around 50-100 chapters ago... he still tries to finish it i guess (i returned two times already to write ~30 chapters each time) so just wait and hope that he still tries his best to finish the story... even if it may take some time :x
Same!!
ohh comeone, why not? ppplllsss
I hope you won't drop the novel :x I had so much fun reading it and still waiting desperately for the romance to really kicking in ^^ I know you wanted to work on some early chapters before continue writing, but its really hard to wait so long :x
I needed three approaches till i finally managed to enjoy the story, but then i really did. So let me explain why: (I've read 206 chapters at the point of this review) First of all, i'm quite sensible with sad stuff. I don't like it if girls suffer and i just want everyone end up happily together as "family". And when i started to read i hated the mc. I felt terrible for the girls and really disliked everything about the mc. I've talked about the novel with a "friend" of mine, after the author recommended it in my forum thread and he started and continued reading it as well. Later he approached me again and urged me to give the novel another try to at least read till chapter ~25, or maybe even ~80, because in those parts there would come really huge character developments. And and tried to give the novel another chance. He was right, after the start i really enjoyed the novel more and more. The characters are interesting, the romance is partly really super fluffy and after the start and the character development i really started to accept the mc as well. I still had some "problems" with the twisted relationships some girls have/had before. And i still can't totally forgive the mc what he's done to some girls. But the romance and harem overall is so fluffy and lovable, that i really enjoyed it a lot. The romance itself turned into something with deep feelings (and not only ***) with the characters really caring for each other. And the harem setting hasn't much unnecessary drama but shows how much they love each other. It's also nice to see, that not everything only depend on the mc but that the girls will also be part of the work/solution. So if you are like me, bad with sad stuff and mostly here for the fluffy harem: Try to read past chapter 30. The story and the characters will change and it will be a fluffy and caring relationship. And many of those dark things the mc did may not be as dark as it seems and/or get a good ending.
There isn't a Yuri tag as far as i can see, and there really isn't any Yuri in the novel so far. Later on he spends some nights with 2 girls, but no details as far as i remember (but i tend to skip like 70% of the *** stuff, so not 100% sure about that). But the girls don't have romantic feelings for each other atm. at all. I wouldn't mind if that change later a little, since (in my opinion) it takes bit of the pressure of a very huge harem setting. But again: At the moment no yuri! (btw. novel is paused at the moment. Author got contracted with webnovel and took down most chapters for the moment... they should be back at some point... just if you wondering)
One of you is talking about chapters, one is talking about in-novel-time... the story is extremely slow past, so only a few days have past. Don't expect to much progress in like one or two weeks ^^
Even then its fine if you don't want to see anyone you know dead. Also, he was important to his father, another reason to "care" at least a little about him.
yeah, he is little dense. But i'm really happy with the development in this chapter on the girls side xD So lets wait, maybe the mc is just a little dense and not totally oblivious to girls feelings... and room for character growth is good too, if its used later =D
probably one of the most heartwarming reasons for a harem setting <3
i fear that some ppl will think its going to fast and/or to easy... but i don't care! i'm really really happy about it!! soo cute!!!
