It doesn't really. The pain is always there. That feeling of "how I wish I'm still doing these things with you" or "we could be cheering our kids school performance together" lingers. I could make myself busy just to keep my mind off the pain but at the end of the day, when everyone else is sleeping, loneliness strikes. I'm just glad I have a strong support system and Ash's works to help me cope. Although scenes that involves death of a loved one hits me differently now.
