Like the idea a lot! But I didn't play ESO so i did some digging. Did you happen to know Hammerfell has a Forsworn problem on their border with Skyrim, south of Markarth? In the mountains, pretty close to Orsinium(the third), new capital city of the orcs the last few years since the last two got burned down by Bretons in High Rock. Maybe something Ulfric could bond with the Redguards over. Just a thought i couldn't get rid of, sorry it's so long!
Thanks for the chapter! Didn't feel like filler, might know the results but the tests were a good place to aura farm and you focused on the MC.
Thanks for the chapter! No idea why some people are mad the mc let himself get beat up and briefly met Jiro, don't let it get to you
Rather a regular chapter, but happy with either option. Wonder whose gonna be elector count of the new territory.
Yes because the Dawi are known for being reasonable about grudges. Also the author has never mentioned how development of his own lands are already going as quickly as possible or how aside from the grudge with Kislev he's also putting Ostermark to order to strengthen the empire. Your totally right, how dare the Emperor slap this young master in the face, mc will show him that he has eyes but failed to see Mt. Tai
I don't disagree that this arc seems to have been planned around the engagement, and maybe it was a little rushed(Kislev-Ostermark conflict could've used more build-up), but the plots logic isn't that weak. It's not just nobles, it affects everyone's perception of him and opens him up to attack politically/socially. 1. Makes him look at odds with the emperor, who has his back against military/economic/political reprisal from other elector counts who are threateded by his power. 2. Why doesn't he want to get married? Is he gay? A pervert? Hiding something? Refusing a prestigious marriage opens him up to slander. 3. Its sudden but not even a bad marriage
In regards to your first complaint, how many times have they mentioned Al was the one who wanted to attack Kislev, not the emperor? First when speaking to him the emperor basically said its not an order but go if you want, then all the 'grudge-settling' talk Al did leading up to this chapter where he flat out said he did it to not lose the respect of the Dawi, which is more important than gold. Next yes feudal rulers only controlled powerful vassals on paper, the emperor couldn't force Al to marry her, but he can announce the engagement and force Al to either go through with it or back out and look bad publicly. If you don't like the arc just say so, but its not illogical
Great chapter, thanks! Cool with however you wanna release these outside povs, even if they replace a regular chapter.
Dude love the story so far but the spelling quality has dropped dramatically the last few chapters. Also ironborn is one word
