Just because your parents have one eye color it doesn’t mean you will get that same eye color due to dominant/recessive genes. There are more than 150 genes which can determine eye color. But to simplify it, two main genes… 1. Results in Green eyes or Blue eyes 2. Results in Brown eyes or Blue eyes. Brown > Green > Blue Meaning if both parents have brown they could still have a baby with blue eyes, or one of the other 150+ genes could kick into play and throw it all out the window and give the baby Hazel or Grey or whatever eyes.
