I didn’t mention all of the wandering cultivators by name at the beginning, though. But you are right, one did become a zombie in the second chapter. Of the others, I named a female cultivator and another master x
When I stop being lazy, I promise to scan over what I have already posted. I’m ninety nine percent certain that I only ever intended Shaun to be in a wheelchair. His loss of ability was due to a severe spinal injury, but I’m not sure of what I said about the state of his legs. I will look into it! Thanks for your suggestion though!
Ah, accident due to real life, i think!
This was a concious decision based on the fact that at the time, I was often confused by the levelling systems in cultivation novels and also to simplify it (at least in my own mind). It proceeded to develop and get a bit more complicated as things went on. So now, primary, secondary and tertiary levels are core formation, a core will form as the cultivator enters quartenary stage. Quaternary, Quinary and Senary levels are body tempering stage, developing the physical body of the cultivator, ege strength, reflexes, next three are mind tempering stage, developing the brain, eg swiftness of thought, memory. Last three are soul/spirit tempering stage in order to become a true immortal. Things may adapt again in the future x
Hmm, possibly because the author never thought about it and now that i have, though he might down the line, as only a secondary stage cultivator, even if he created something to wrap around his legs (by lost, i only meant the use of them) so he could move them, he’d have to pour a lot of his power into them with fine control constantly. With wheels, there is momentum or the potential of being pushed around by others when he lacked energy. However, this doesn’t mean his situation would remain the same forever as he cultivates x
No, I would get into the details, but I mention something about how dimensional bags work in a later chapter, so i won’t spoil it. It doesn’t mention the answer to your question specifically, but it might make things clearer. If not, ask me again after you’ve read this far x x
Undead. However, they don’t seek to ‘turn’ others, just eat them and they will/did eat their own in the beginning if they couldn’t find a source of life, just that the ones they ate were targeted. There is a few sentences here and there about this. The one that crumbled to dust was weak, didn’t have the ability to evolve and couldn’t eat, for example.
Sorry to disappoint, but this book was never about an overpowered Mc with a golden finger and a protagonist halo. There are plenty of good books with this flavour out there already. So I chose a very ordinary person with a very ordinary former life and tossed him into a world he has to learn to adapt to, hence the title.
Most likely! Good spot!
He is considered half a core student, as in as important as one, but not as nutured as one as core students are picked on their ability to support the institute in the future (as well as being excellent individuals), but Leon will leave one day. He personally chose not to move into the inner school and was built a house next to his old home x
Absolutely so, lol. I have lists of words in a book with plant descriptions such as ‘fern’ ‘herb’ ‘grass’ ‘bush’ etc and I randomly pick stuff and occassionally throw other names in on a whim. There maybe some influenced from other books though (whether i realise this or not) for example, Purple Spirit Grass is similar to Purple Haze Grass from Tales of Demons and Gods.
