it is January 2nd. Because till 3 you have different endings in the numbers, like 1st, 2nd and 3rd everything after is ending in -th. Of course, if you have something like 92 or something that ends in 1,2, or 3. It ends with their respective endings. An example would be 51, which is 51st.
