This is the second time i am reading this novel. Its only upto 600 chapters, so i had to read it in MTL websites. Though there is another author who has translated this novel just after the current one is finished. The reason i came back to read this again, is because it has left a profound impression on me. it has made me understand movies better. the nuances of acting. the complex emotions and actual real life character interactions. i have watched all the movies that are discussed in this novel. but i just end up wishing if only renly hall had acted in those movies. this is a chinese novel. but there are NO toxic chinese nationality mentioned. AT ALL. in fact while the mc talks chinese, he rejects the chinese movie culture. this is THE most authentic hollywood light novel there is. i cannot admire this enough
