Haha so did I
No, he's a grieving father. It's understandable he'd feel that way.
And don't get me wrong, I have so far enjoyed reading the pov of Katherine and Charles. I think adding James or anyone else to the mix will cause the story to be drawn out. Maybe the others might make good side stories after the novel has been completed. That's just my opinion. Only you as the author know where your story leads and how you want it to be told. As a reader, what you have done so far has me hooked. Please don't give up.
Half? đł Oh my. That's disappointing because I find your novel entertaining. I think what might be a problem with some is the language barrier. It leads to grammatical errors and confusion, but you have many loyal fans who are continuing to support you despite it. Please continue your wonderful work to completion.
I think if you do too many povs the novel gets stalled. I already think there's too many different povs as it is. While it is nice once in a while and certainly adds insight and added detail, we don't need to read about every character. As it is, adding more storylines to the novel without any timely conclusion or advancement of current storylines will drag out the entire novel. If you drag it out too long, you'll lose readers. For me right now, I'm beginning to get frustrated by the changing storylines after every chapter or so. I think you're doing a great job and would like you to keep up the good work, but please keep in mind the slippery slope you are currently on with too many povs, too many storylines, and the constant change of storylines without advancement or conclusion.
Sometimes I want to smack Marianne. After everything, you'd think she would know better than to believe most - if not all - of the things that come out of Isabella's mouth!

No sympathy from Bai if Alva were to force himself on Molly.
Please look up the world "several" in the dictionary. It means more than two, but fewer than many.
It said SEVERAL decades, not seven.

As long as she doesn't want to stop being spouses with Parker and Winston it shouldn't do anything, right? I thought that in order for it to work, the female must also have a desire to stop being mates.
Actually, no, it is not to be expected. You don't always have to be rude or abrasive to get your point across, it doesn't matter what time period you are from and suddenly find yourself in. It is especially true if you're a woman living in a patriarchal society. Being rude with an "I can do whatever I want" attitude will only get you into trouble. She is almost always rude, and is always reactive to others. Modern women are usually smarter than to always rise to other peoples' bait.
