Alternatively the thing in the tomb is Prisoner pathway but the seal on the tomb was made by Death/Night pathway beyonders. The Chained God only had two seq 1 characteristics and the uniqueness of Prisoner pathway so this could be where the third was sealed.

This feels like The Purge. Peaceful year round then one day a year it kicks off. Would explain the increased number of deaths all occuring at one time a year even if it is only a dream.

Well always freedom to interpret "True" godhood in different ways. You only become a complete mythic creature at seq 2 and a true god at seq 0. Getting the help of a high seq lawyer to use those loopholes could also work.
