Secondly, I can agree to Horikita being admirable because he is brave for antagonising the MC, whom he thinks is the murderer. But for the following reasons, I think it isn't particularly brave for Horikita. Calling someone in for questioning is hardly antagonizing them, especially if it's their job. MC has no major motive or benefit in harming Horikita. MC is only a suspect. MC isn't particularly physically daunting. The only reason I could find for Horikita thinking this is dangerous is the possibility that MC will harm Suzune, which is what you mentioned in the story. So I'm split between logically no reason, but emotionally yes reason.
A year late, but I wanted to respond. Firstly, admiration because he did not dismiss the possibility of supernatural abilities doesn't make sense. Most people always do that. Unexplainable, impossible, or even weird events are attributed to the supernatural. It's just that without absolute proof (like visually seeing it in person or something), we don't tend to bring that possibility up. Simple example, "God created the world". If people were logical and didn't consider the possibility of the supernatural, then that statement would be ignored, and many religions would not exist.
Think it was just a personality thing

How could you forget the jade beauties
I disagree, it’s not the lack of education it’s the lack of social interaction. Education doesn’t help much in matters of the heart.
Whoosh there goes a nobody
Ah yes, Blue Silver Grass, the ultimate (weapon?) (beast?) spirit.
It could also mean that the next time she sees him is the moment when he dies. So she doesn't want to see it.
It’d be funny if in the future Orario calls Loki the goddess of blindness.
