ah, yes. a wall. to break the immersion. a fourth wall?
wraith. ghost. phantom, spectre, there are so many to choose from. invisible vigilante is just....stupid.
I wish you'd have stretched this instead of vaults. this is much more interesting than reading about the architect's bullshit puzzle room.
eeeehhhh, at first it was kinda fun seeing the rivalry between Eddie and Harry but it's starting to get tedious.
Look, this is a rare gem. The quality is top notch and there's no way I'll ever be convinced that the author is an amateur writer. This is some top tier writing. You'll notice it in the little things, descriptions, world building and character development. You'll see it in the consistency. Everything matters and I'm yet to find a significant plot hole or loose end. The whole book is so tightly knit, it's frankly impressive. This is a quote from a chapter after 1.5k and it took me this long to realize how much care and attention was given to details like these: "It consisted of a black dress coat with tails over a white shirt, a piqué waistcoat, and a white bow tie worn around a standing wingtip collar." Just a random paragraph describing someone's clothes. But do u know what a fucking piqué is? Because I didn't. I had to Google it to find out uts a way of knitting. Similar to what Lacoste shirts use but more complex. And there are tons of little details like that everywhere. Can you imagine how much the author has to know, or do research, to use things like that so naturally? A lot. Every inch in a while I have to Google a new term, or a phrase and it's honestly amazing. You should read this book. It's not the kind of book to leave you bored or that will let your mind shut off. It's engaging and packed with...well...life. The characters never feel just like book characters. Even the Mc. He feels incredibly...human, ironically enough. You'll understand what I'm talking about after a few hundred chapters. Honestly, I would've sooner expected to find a book like this published and on library shelves and in bookstores. Even most of books sold there dont have this level of quality. To find it on webnovel was beyond lucky.
that's what she said
bit excessive, innit?
now imagine if the characters were real people. because of course the first thought for any sensible human is how to exploit a system like that. maybe corral and raise beasts only to be slaughtered when they reach optimal growth for some easy farming. not to mention plants.
