except the Senju are able to give up even their name and authority for the greater good, while the Uchiha kill each other's loved ones in front of each other for the greater good. this isn't much of a trap for the Senju. they don't carry the same corrosive pride in their clan name and authority.

one has to wonder if this was how Tobirama taught. it might explain some things.
