I kinda agree that the side characters haven't been fleshed out but I think that let you develop your mc and the world more

this approach has one fatal flaw it doesn't address a way to deal with external threats, not to mention if ves was right designer babies have close to no spirituality

honestly it would be cool if she solidified an actual empire across the gap and then utilized the weird properties of it to somehow create a portal to the red sea
