If he needs the teleportation power and be a human sponge at the same time, then yes, he can be both. His power gives him the best ability or superpower to achieve his survival. If he needs five or ten powers at the same time to survive 20 different dangerous things at the same time, then he’ll get them.

Agreed 100% I once tried to make cultivation novel where the mc didn’t cultivate at all. Instead, he grew his qi reserves and used it to create things like guns, power armor, an army of robots, among other things to beat those at a higher cultivation realm than him.

Understandable. And all the things we are discussing has already happened. The SCP lore is deep and wide. There isn’t just one canon timeline, there are many. Each with wide differences. Many of these timelines involve the end of the world, the truth about some SCP getting leak, SCP- 096 (Shy Gu) going on a rampage all over the world hunting people that have seen his face, etc. The thing is, in story (timeline) there is someone who will, and can, hunt down the dangerous SCPs and kill them. As for the SCPs that are knowledge hazards (knowing them makes them stronger or allows them to kill people) there are ways to end them. It is just tricky. If they exist, they can be destroyed. We just don’t know how. For all we know it is our perception that makes them stronger. Like thinking they have no weaknesses makes them so while thinking salt can ward them off and hurt them will make it happen.

There is a way, though. By bothering the h*ll out of it. The MC can manipulate his flesh. Making the heart’s stay bothersome until it listen should be possible. The thing about people looking for SCPs is already happening. The thing about terrorist organizations getting their hands on SCPs is already happening. The only ones who don't know about the existence of SCPs are the masses. The MC is right with his tiger analogy. Even if it was simple and left a lot of complexities out. Knowing SCPs exist would be the same as knowing super predators exist in the world. It would also help the SCPs that just want to help people to get out there. They only had a quirk for detail and wanted things to take a different turn in the original. So they used that to make great stories that will never see the light of day because of how long copyright lasts.
