I'm voting for 1 but not so extreme as to rebuff everyone around him just don't let this become a story where he overcomes his past and marries the girl for a happy ending

Great chapter

I really enjoyed this novel and will miss it butt (heh) if the author doesn't feel like continuing because of hurtful comments that's there choice, I've seen a comment about the silent readers and I feel this shows what happens when they don't comment (their drowned out by haters), as one myself I'll take this lesson and support other novels by commenting more frequently even if just to type 'I liked this'.
