Kinda typical how many people make it seem like most mothers curse when they give birth when an educated one will know to focus on breathing and pushing as screaming is a waste of energy. Midwives/nurses would remind them to breath and push too instead of screaming.

I doubt they would be able to save Phloria though. It would be anti climatic. It's possible if the author goes the realistic route instead of the dramatic route.
