Sounds like an interesting thought experiment. Anyone have thoughts to offer? 5
But… 798/798 HP???
QW, buddy, Aizen wants his Zanpakuto back lol
Which has gotten him in trouble… how often?
Guys… be fair, the attack that 1 shot this general is the same attack that brought Shaitan to his knees… the multiple demon devouring vortex… that attack is a powerful trump card of QW’s. To me that means this man could have lasted a few moves even against the academy arc Shaitan or QW wouldn’t have bothered with so much “overkill”. He’s absolutely nothing compared to a 9th level QW, but he’s a strong 9th level Immortal by more… ordinary standards.
In her eyes, she merely demoted him from being her protector to some lower level member of hers. Someone she could allow the 3rd Devil General to kill without pursuing things. But she hadn’t kicked him out of her army. Rather, he abandoned her for the sake of benefits in a much weaker and lesser army, which doubly insults her pride. Not saying I agree with this moron, but that’s what she’s seeing and reacting to.
Furthermore, QW normally only fights ‘genius’ caliber enemies. He disdains acting against ‘ordinary’ foes without a reason and ordinary characters are more likely to accept the clear difference in potential while most ‘geniuses’ get their pride wounded by QW’s awesomeness and feel like they need to “set the record straight”… There are times that this doesn’t hold and times that he truly slaps the face of some ’genius’ in an awe inspiring manner by having completely maxed his current level’s combat prowess. A few examples of QW fighting more uphill than 2 stages -> Chapter 815, challenges the best fighter in the entire Cloud Prefuncture despite being 3 levels below him… unquestionably a genius level character among Ascendants (which is what QW is at the time) and having the potential to remain a genius among Immortals (not guaranteed, but possible). Uses no significant augment and, strictly speaking faces it is his enemy that possesses a comparative external augment. QW narrowly loses, but breaks through to 5th level as a result of the fight. Chapter 675 - QW as a level 9 HD fights a level 3 CA Darkshadow Sovereign. That’s a gap in cultivation realms and 3 levels… yes, he uses the Demon Sword and yes, this is effectively a draw… but this is equivalent to more like 5 levels than merely 3 or 4. Chapter 538 - QW at level 4 HD faces a specifically recognized as ordinary level 7 HD and dominates him. Yes, a very careful read will show that Purgatory emerging from his blood technically did a KS here, but there was no doubt that QW won hard… landslide victory. Chapter 426 - QW assumes the form of a giant roc, reaching the 9th level HD temporarily. He goes 2 v 1 with Ascendants and bullies them until he draws out the 3rd Ascendant (who should have been a 3rd level Ascendant like the Great Solar Chen Ancestor given how often the level of power between the two forces was equated). Only loses after the Pill Emperor Skeleton acts. This is just off the top of my head and taking a few minutes to find the references. I’ll admit that QW’s track record of fighting 3 levels+ above himself is… spotty. However, he has one clear win early on against an average joe and a difficult to determine loss against a pretty decent genius later on… plus cases where he made use of des ex machina level weapons/techniques to jump WAY past a mere 3 levels.
And foolish…
That majority already left and/or got left behind. There was a scene where the failures who couldn’t detected the divine essence left the ancient mountain in humiliation.
Bingo
He dares to be more awesome than the one that we did chose and when we disapproved of his love life he rebelled instead of allowing us to dictate his emotions and future. These are unforgivable and terrible crimes that even a thousand deaths could not pay for… to translate, they are hideous tyrants who cannot afford to be wrong or to take a step back.
Or that the hate they have for the traitors has exceeded the hate they have for their enemies? “We both want the traitors dead. Why don’t we work together to kill them and then we can get back to killing each other later? Otherwise, the traitors might grow enough to get revenge on us instead…”
It depends on who was there at the time…QW’s incredibly talented junior brother, that JM who got ranked 2nd to only QW himself at the Eastern Sage Sect event… his highest ranking was 6th. Now, that’s because it was a rather legendary top 10 group and possibly underestimated JM to favor Qing’er and the Pheonix chick… still, point stands that #5 is generally respectable. As for when this guy was there? I think it probably is reasonable to expect that Zi Daoyang, Mo Xie and the Pheonix chick were the top 3 at the time (all of whom stayed top 5 in the legendary top 10) and possibly the mirror dude was #4. Mirror dude still ranked #8 in the legendary top 10. This guy’s talent, depending on how closely it follows mirror dude’s, could range from above a member of the HTR to being locked in at #12 even in the strongest groupings. That is to say, QW could easily jump a level to crush him, but jumping from CPA to Immortal or jumping two levels… that going to get very ugly rather fast. Let’s see how deep into his bag of tricks QW is going to need to dip for this one lol
They expected his sect to abandon him and then even if he used Immortal weapons they would simply do the same. They didn’t expect the whole sect to pull out Immortal weapons to defend QW… remember that they have been instructed not to kill anyone but the three from the HTR.
Because it exists. Obviously if it exists it should belong to her, the most beautiful daughter of Immortal Emperor XYZ… any inheritance absolutely must allow for her to retrieve it or it’s clearly a fake >.<
They know it exists and the general power of its effectiveness… but not a thing about how to use it themselves. Think about in Grand Xia how they recognized what QW did to transform into a Roc as being the Demonic Divinity Sacraficial Transformation Art. It was certainly a secret art belonging to generations long lost, ancient to even the Ascendants… but stories of it surviving were enough to understand QW’s transformation into a giant Roc and for them to be somewhat prepared for his strength to rise enormously.
Lots of ways to rig a system when you are the one constructing the system…
QW consistently jumps two levels to beat “genius level characters” and only feels pressure jumping two levels when they are characters capable of jumping a level. On the occasions we have seen him directly face off with enemies 3 levels above him they are either ordinary or he uses external trump cards (like the Demon Sword) to win. But MC has on his record a victory against someone who could jump effectively two levels that he jumped two levels to achieve. He defeated the “era suppressing genius” female who was 9th level Heavenly Dipper and could defeat a 1st level Celestial Ascendent when he was 7th level Heavenly Dipper. If we are being honest to the variability of MC’s level jumping ability and taking the reputation of his opponents as always being deserved… MC can jump 3.5-4.5 levels without external aid at any point in time to date.
Hey look, he remembered that he had summons 0.0
