I bet the protagonist is going to learn that soon.
I see, he's a man of culture
That's what makes this so interesting. I don't know if it is truly realistic but this novel has really brought to light some details that physically disabled people have to go through, like when he had to be careful to not stub his toes while on his wheelchair when he wanted to go to the toilet.
I’ll write a more in-depth review when I get to follow up on this story. What I enjoyed most from this was the characters, hands down. They are given enough pause to come out of their own shells and speak directly to the readers. I didn’t have to let my mind wander to grasp their background and was still given room to find myself surprised by the small bits and pieces of revealing dialogue.
