to be perfectly honest I originally read this on scribble hub, but it being reposted here gives me an excuse to re-read this story. I would reccomend reading it if you haven't already done so.

maybe they deleted it to try and drive traffic down, aka make it less desirable to try picking it up if someone new stumbled across it. but that's just a wild guess
