Don't bother reading. It's an abandoned story, only goes up to chapter 40. Probably a rip off of a manga called: Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer. Starts almost the same but the characters are different. MC is a twat. Gets his kicks from bullying his contracted dragon who is the school belle. The relationship is like some incel fantasy where he uses her, orders her to do things against her will breaking her pride, and eventually she grows to like him.
These 2 idiots deserve each other. Lu Yu is goofing around instead of killing the enemy. Duan Zhenglin knows Lu Yu absorbed the dragon spirit but doesn't realize that gave him a ton of energy especially since he tapped into it before. The author is working on word count instead of a coherent plot.
If the ancient beast is sealed beneath the tower, shouldn't the power leaking out be greater closer to the beast at ground floor rather than 20 floors up? It's also not much of a secret since it was already mentioned in an earlier chapter.
"Xu Yuan was shocked. No wonder Lu Yu was so talented and had such great potential; it turned out that his bloodline was related to an ancient dragon." Did the author forget that Xu Yuan was the one who transplanted the dragon bloodline into Lu Yu from his aunt? That's why these webnovel authors need editors and proof readers.
Don't waste your time with this story. All the low ratings and comments are true. Wish I had read them first. The story starts with an interesting premise but by the fourth reincarnation, the author runs out of ideas and the deduction system in the title disappears. The plot is messy and details are missing. It just jumps randomly like it was written by an old chatbot. ChatGPT would have done a much better job. The first 2 reincarantions take up 48 chapters, the 3rd runs from chapter 57 to 117, but the 4th runs from 120 to 662. The 4th reincarnation forgets the MC is suppose to do things to earn points. About half way through, the author starts writing a second story with another MC that barely intersects with the main story. After that the MC gets OP and ascends to the next level at which point the author or the translator has skipped so many details the story is garbage. Towards the end, the MC throws himself into the reincarnation cycle of that world instead of returning to his own and goes off on a 5th reincarnation cycle. The 5th is a standard Wuxia trope with crippled young master dumped by finance.
Chinese nationalism at its worse revealing a massive inferiority complex. The protagonist and his country represent humanity at its very worse. Think NAZI Gernany, Stalin's USSR, the Kims of North Korea, Islamic jihadis, MAGA Repblicans. People who believe they are the elites, and whatever they do to enrich themselves is ultimately good for the nation. There's no shortage of extremist in this world enamored in their own self-righteousness. This book celebrates extremism.
Don't get your hopes up. Starts good but as the story progresses, the MC gets a little OP and turns into a a scummy con artist. Naturally, he ends up doing more fighting than forging and the Legendary Canon becomes little more than something to fill in plot holes that the author has dug for himself. Around chapter 715 he blackmails the demons for tons of stuff but doesn't remember he just stole the Reincarnation Mirror that can store it all and goes into con artists mode to get someone to help him move it. That's actually the author's fault for not remembering what he wrote 3 chapters earlier.
