Your first sentence is almost word for word what I said previously. Am I missing something or did you not read my comment and simply reacted to the word nazi ? I can understand you being frustrated by her indecisive behavior but to put all this responsibility on her shoulders is a bit too much I believe. She's accountable for her actions and going with the flow alright. But she also deserves some sympathy and understanding. She's a young ***** faced with betraying either her familly and betraying her newfound beliefs. She's damned either way so she has to choose what is more important to her. Maybe you have your own answers to that. She apparently doesn't have one quite yet.
I think you are quite naive to think she would have been listened. In my homeland, I saw a great deal of people who claimed, to anyone who would hear it, that they would have fought the nazis willingly during the war. How many of their boasts rings true is debatable. Most of their words might have been simply said for a selfish desire to be looked upon with respect. Or by fear of being thought on the opposite side would they have not yelled it. And this is in a democratic state mind you. Where your person is somewhat guaranteed to live another day would you have spoken your inner thoughts. I can only imagine, with great sympathy, what she is going through and wish I were never in her shoes.
You are correct. I doubt this will change anything for the legion though. They have come to far, sacrificed too much. By fighting the dungeon for so long they seem to have lost some part of what made them humans, I'd say. An irony they either failed to notice or perhaps aknowledge as their ultimate sacrifice.
I agree with your assesment. At least for the first prototypes. But I'm sure the technologies themselves are already worth their pound in biomass. Imagine an ant army fully geared with cheap downgraded versions of it. Oh glorious that would be ! :D
Maybe she is just growing up ? Making more mature and complex reasonning as time goes by ? Or maybe her change as a homo legionnensis has simply given her a better grasp at her berserk powers ? Maybe she also made peace with her bro's death, her parent's absence due to their respective jobs ? Perhaps her horizon was enlarged by all she experienced ? Or it could be all of this combined which makes her a relatable growing human character.
